TRANSIT

                             Now every day

                                wait

                                There’s this tunnel that

                                connects Atlantic Avenue

                                and Pacific St.

                                wait

                                I take the subway to

                                      work every day

                                that I work

                                    5 days a week

                            and even on the days I’m not

                                     working

                        I’m usually on the subway

                                     anyway

                                going somewhere

                                wait

                        I get off at Atlantic

                                and run

                                through this connecting

                                tunnel

                                  to get to Pacific

                        wait

                                running because

                                wait

                                just running

                                not sure why it’d be so bad

                                to wait

                                wait

                                especially me with not much

                                to do but write

                                and I do that on the

                                subway anyway

                                while I

                                wait

                                everyday I run underground

                                across the country

                                from sea to sea
